Oh Brother!: A Nico & Tugger Tale
Hello! If you’re here you probably have figured out that I have written a children’s book about my dogs, Nico and Tugger. No, I am not that crazy dog lady that lives down the street who kids complain smells like wet dog. I am just a girl from New Jersey (who does not have big hair) who is a crazy Bon Jovi fan (but does not wear spandex) who is fortunate enough to have been able to bring an endearing story to you and the children in your lives. It is my hope that you will enjoy reading about Nico and Tugger as much as I enjoy being owned by them.
Oh Brother! A Nico and Tugger Tale is not only a great book for kids, but also can be used as an appropriate resource for parents who need to tackle the issue of sibling rivalry among young children. My three children (ages 8, 5, and 3) each love the book, and I appreciate the opportunity to offer them solutions presented in a relatable, and adorable, way.
I ordered Oh Brother! A Nico and Tugger Tale from amazon.com at a great price and received the book quickly.
We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your book! Such a great way to “teach” little ones about a new sibling (pet or grandparent, for that matter!) coming into your home (your space). We really look forward to the next adventure of Nico & Tugger. I bought four copies of the book for gifts……..and one for me!
My 4-year-old granddaughter loves Oh Brother! so much that no only do we read it at home, but she takes it to preschool with her as well! I have to admit, I enjoy reading it too.
My daughter has loved this book since she first saw it, and she loves the illustrations. She keeps asking me when another “Nico and Tugger book” will come out.
My oldest son is 12, so I have read many children’s books over the years. Some have been great and some have not. We love this book–it’s awesome! My youngest son calls it his “puppy book”. We look forward to more Nico and Tugger tales!
My son loves when I read Oh Brother! to him. I love that the story is well written and relevant to an issue that many parents face–sibling rivalry.
We love the book! My girls just finished reading it and my eldest turned to her sister and said, “Hey, they’re just like us but we’re SISTERS!”
My niece adores Oh Brother!: A Nico and Tugger Tale! The author visited her school, and she still talks about how exciting that was.

I enjoyed your visit. I loved your story. It reminded me of my cousin’s dog and when the dog got a brother and didn’t like him.

Such a heart-warming story DESERVES an award. I loved it! The way you explain the feelings of both Tugger and Nico was AMAZING! My favorite part was when Tugger rolled the red ball over to Nico and soon, their friendship began. There were some sad moments, like when Nico thought he was forgotten, or Tugger was taken from his friend. I almost cried! But I’m really glad that I read this book. It certainly changed the relationship of me and my brother! THANK YOU!
